Ernie Chappell was the Founder of EFC Systems in 1988. EFC Systems began providing technology solutions to the Agribusiness sector in 1991 first with wholesale ERP solutions, adding ERP solutions for Ag Retail in 2004, then geo-Spatial solutions in 2015. He remained with Ever.Ag, who acquired his business, through 2023. Retirement from leading an Ag Technology company has allowed more time for family and board service work at the University and High School level. He is passionate about both a strong Ag Retail community to serve farmers and the importance of entrepreneurs, so he also spends time helping small companies and the members of the Ag Retailers Association.
